Agriculture plays a vital role in ensuring food security, environmental sustainability, and economic progress and development of society. Cagayan State University is committed to supporting agricultural systems development to ensure food security in a changing climate, a sustainable environment, and intergenerational fairness through advanced technology, innovation, and knowledge sharing1. The International Conference on Smart Agriculture provides opportunities for scholars, researchers, educators, industry players, farmers, government leaders, and decision-makers in the ASEAN region and other parts of the world to discuss the trends, insights, and innovations in smart agriculture toward Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs). The conference is a hybrid conference that can be attended face-to-face or via Zoom.

Conference Outcomes:

  • Create valuable insights among the participants that can springboard innovation in agricultural systems in their respective organizations;

  • Develop a shared vision towards the futures of agriculture for SDG;

  • Share research and best practices in SMART Agriculture;

  • Develop multicultural collaboration and partnership among the participants on SMART Agriculture advocacies;

  • Develop communities of practice for Smart Agriculture.
